Edit Material Lists

The table displays the values of the list entries according to the list settings. The individual values can be changed here and, depending on their meaning, have specific properties.

Modifications: The first column cannot be edited. It indicates with an icon that there are machining operations associated with the components of these rows for the measurement. If the icon is visible here, the existing machining operations can be checked using the function 'Extras - Machining'.

Row number: The row number is assigned automatically and serves only for reference. The row number on the screen may differ from the printout, since different rows may be selected or aggregated there.

Package: The package number of the components in this row can be displayed and changed.

Building element: Any row, including one entered manually, can be assigned to a building element (e.g., wall or roof surface). To do this, select the building element in the tree and confirm with OK.

Quantity: The number of components in this row is specified.

Timber list / raw body number: This number is assigned during sorting and does not take machining operations into account, but only the raw body's dimensions. For the timber list these are width, height and length.

Serial number: This number is assigned during sorting and also takes machine machining into account.

Ident number: The ID number can be assigned freely or taken from the component catalog. If taken from the component catalog, the ID designation, order number, weight, etc. are also imported automatically. It is also possible to enter ID numbers that are not present in the component catalog. This can be used for rarely used ID numbers for which you do not want to add master data. Note that no other values from the component catalog can be imported in this case, so these entries will remain empty or in their previous state.

Identification label: The ID designation can be assigned freely or taken from the component catalog via the ID number.

Post type: For the member type a number can be entered or selected from a list. Only existing member types may be used. The member type initially sets the designation automatically: e.g., 111 -> rafter. The designation can later be changed independently. The member type determines the measurement values according to the member type. The designation plays no role there. The measurement values are determined for each member type number.

Designation: The designation can be entered freely or taken from the designation list. The row number of the line in the designation list may also be entered. After confirmation it will be replaced by the actual designation.

Order number: In timber lists the order number is normally the cutting class. The order number is usually taken from the component catalog via the ID number. However, it can also be entered in each row or assigned via the ordering system.

Width, height, length: The dimensions of the component are entered here according to the configured units.

Weight/reference, reference weight: The weight per unit of a component is typically taken from the component catalog via the ID number. The rounding setting (minimum, average or maximum weight value) is considered only when the list is read in for the first time. After that only the weights according to this setting are present.

Unit, price/unit: Billing unit and price can be specified here. The price is typically assigned more easily via the ordering system.

Delivery location: It can be set whether the component should be delivered to the workshop or to the assembly site. When printing the list, selection can be made based on this criterion.

Source type: It can be set whether the component is ordered or stock material. When printing the list, selection can be made based on this criterion.
