Material lists
This area manages the material lists, the associated archive documents, and the generation of measurement lines from material lists.
In the tree element, the list type, list number, and list designation (comment) of each list are displayed. The status of the measurement lines can be recognized by the icon preceding the list. New lists can be created here, existing ones opened for editing, exported, or deleted. Using the preface and postface functions, the pre- and posttext of the current list can be edited.
The list number and designation are edited in the Info function.
A primary item should be assigned for each list. Manually entered lines in the lists are assigned to this primary item. Only in this way can any measurement values from these material lines be assigned correctly. Therefore, when a list is newly created manually, the primary item is requested.
The date when the measurement lines from this list were updated is displayed under the tree.
If the icon before the list is a white square, no measurement lines exist for this list.
If the square is blue, the measurement lines are current.
If it is red, the list was changed after the measurement lines were updated. Measurement lines are not updated automatically in order to avoid triggering unintended processes, especially since not all lists require measurements.
Between the material lists and the measurement lines there are two function buttons for managing measurement lines from material lists. Using the 'Update Measurement Lines' function (right arrow) the measurement lines are updated; using 'Delete Measurement Lines' (delete button) all measurement lines of this list are deleted.
In the level below the lists, the archive documents that were generated from this list are listed. They are identified by document number, date, and comment. The archive documents can be opened here for editing or deleted.
Preface and Postface
In these dialogs a preface or postface for the list can be entered. Upon output, these are optionally stored together.
Line breaks should be inserted in these texts using the Return key, because only those can be counted by the program as lines. If an overly long text is later wrapped automatically, it may cause a shift in the page break.
For both the preface and postface, a default text can be saved using the 'Save Default' function. The default text is applied with 'Load Default'.
