Wall Plan - Lists

A material list can be inserted on the wall plan. This can be either a 'timber list' or a 'rod list'. The timber list contains only rods and, sorted by cross-sections, displays running number, length and quantity of the components. The rod list contains rods and profile rods and, separated by cross-sections, displays running number, quantity, designation and length of the components.

The list is only generated if the component labeling contains a component number. The same number type (running number, timber list number) used in the component labeling is then used for the list. If the component labeling does not contain a number, a list cannot be generated.

In addition, there is the option to insert freely definable material lists on the plan. For each material list, the following settings are specified:

  • Groups: In this field you specify the group of components to be included in the list. Only the components of the displayed building element are taken into account. In a wall plan, therefore, only the components of the depicted wall are considered in the material list.

    • List type: Here you select the type of material list, as known from the material list repository for the construction data program. The following are available:

    • Timber list

    • Panel list

    • Profile bar list

    • Shaped parts list

    • Fitting and fastener list

    • Assembly list

  • List setting: Here you choose a list setting that you have created in the construction data program.

    • With this setting you determine which columns are to be displayed and in which order this should occur.

    • In addition, you can specify the unit of each value, the width of the columns and the alignment (left-aligned, right-aligned).

    • The list setting also defines the document template to be used for output. This allows you to specify the font, font size and line height.

  • Position: For the position of the material lists, you can select the four corners of the plan.

The material lists are inserted on the plan as an RTF file. These text windows can then be moved or deleted arbitrarily afterwards.

This now gives you the option to place not only a standard timber list on the plan but also all other types of material lists. In addition, you can freely design the lists with regard to the selection of displayed columns and their order.
