Section Drawing - Display / Labeling
Calculate hidden lines: This switch enables the calculation of hidden lines. These hidden lines will then no longer be displayed on the drawing.
Display hidden lines: If the hidden lines have been calculated, they can be made visible again with this switch. However, they are placed on their own layer and receive the line type 'dashed'.
Drawing elements: This switch transfers the currently visible drawing elements into the plan.
Labeling of roof windows: This label is generated only when a roof window has been cut or lies within the section area. If multiple windows lie on a roof within the section area and are arranged so that they overlap in the roof plane, all those windows are labeled. If multiple windows lie on a roof within the section area and these windows are arranged side by side in the roof plane, only the front window is dimensioned. The label consists of an identification number and the width and height of the window.
Labeling of rafters: The labeling is set via the component labeling dialog box. This label is generated only when there are rafters in the section and they lie parallel to the cutting plane. It can occur that several rafters lie one behind the other in a section area. In this case, only the rafter that is foremost in the viewing direction of the section is labeled.
Labeling of rafter replacements (purlin braces): When activated, each rafter replacement (bar type 140 to 149) that runs perpendicular to the cutting plane receives this label. The replacement does not necessarily have to be cut. The labeling is configured via the component labeling dialog box.
Labeling of clamped beams (zangen): Only the clamped beams (bar type group: 410, 420) that lie parallel to the cutting plane are labeled. It can occur that several clamped beams lie one behind the other in a section area and are partially or fully obscured. In this case, only the foremost clamped beam is labeled. The labeling is configured via the component labeling dialog box.
Labeling of wall studs: The bars in the walls can be labeled with the component labeling set here.
Labeling of ceiling beams: The bars in the ceilings can be labeled with the component labeling set here.
Profile member labeling: For profile bars, a separate component labeling can be selected that is used independently of the building element.
Hatch patterns and fills: Here you can choose a hatch pattern setting.
Shadow representation: For the views, a calculation of the cast shadow can be chosen as produced by solar radiation at a specific angle.
Measurement units: In this field you select the setting for the measurement units. You can review and modify the settings using the icon to the right of the field.
Text style for labels: For the labels in the section drawing, a text style can be selected for all labels. If no text style is selected here, the text style from the plan template will be used.
Text style for text box: A text style can be selected for the text field in the section drawing.
Purlin timber labeling from: The purlin timber can be labeled with the purlin timber setting specified here.
Floor plan overview: The floor plan overview displays a miniature representation of the floor plan and the position at which the section through the building was taken. Two different positions for the floor plan overview can be selected.
Size of floor plan overview: The size of the enabled floor plan overview above can be set here. The dimension is entered in the selected unit (e.g., meters). The overview is then created so that it fits into a square with the edge length specified here.
