Sill Plan
Using the plan storage 'Threshold Plan', the threshold positions of a floor can be stored in your plan view in DXF format and in the plan format (Dietrich's). Various settings can be made:
The switches in the upper third of the dialog box can be used to turn various plan elements on and off.
Windows / Doors: If the checkbox is enabled, the windows and doors of the displayed floor plan will be drawn. How the windows and doors are represented can be determined with the setting from the dropdown list. You can review and change the settings using the icon at the right edge.
Display walls: This switch allows the walls of the displayed floor to be shown.
Drawing elements: This option allows the auxiliary geometry from the floor plan model area to be drawn on the plan.
Generate threshold dimensioning: The threshold dimensioning generates a dimension chain for each threshold that measures the length of the threshold and the distance from the threshold end to the nearest exterior wall edge.
Generate wall dimensioning: The wall dimensioning generates a dimension chain for each wall that measures the edges of adjacent walls and the openings.
Wall labeling: Here you select the labeling setting that you previously saved and with which the walls should be labeled.
Threshold labeling: In this field you can set the component labeling for the thresholds. You select one of the saved settings that defines how the component labeling should be generated. You can review and modify the settings using the icon to the right of the field.
Measurement units: In this field you select the setting for the measurement units. You can review and modify the settings using the icon to the right of the field.
Text style for labels: A text style can be selected for the labels in the threshold plan. In the wall labeling a text style can also be chosen that then takes precedence for that wall labeling.
Text style for text box: A text style can be selected for the text box in the threshold plan. If no text style is chosen here, the text style from the plan template will be used.
Section height from finished ceiling: This is the section height at which the thresholds are to be searched. All thresholds in this sectional plane will be displayed on the plan.
Step increment, automatic block construction plans: The value entered here can be used to generate plans for block construction. In block construction, plans are sometimes required that depict the block planks of an entire floor at a specific height of the wall.
If a value greater than 0.00 is entered here, the program will not only generate a threshold plan but will also increase the entered section height by the step increment entered here and generate another threshold plan. This section height will be increased by the step increment repeatedly until the maximum height from the next field is reached.
Maximum height for block construction plans: When this height, measured from the underside of the floor, is reached, the program will stop creating further threshold plans.
Dimensioning factor: The dimensioning factor can be used to influence the spacing of the dimension chains. A value greater than 1 increases the spacing; a value between 1 and 0 (e.g., 0.5) decreases the spacing. In general, a factor of 1 is appropriate.
Floor: With the floor setting you can specify which floor should be stored and whether the roof covering should be displayed or not. If multiple floors are enabled simultaneously, you can select the floors individually in the drawing program (e.g., AutoCAD, Dietrich's plan program) and place them anywhere on a plan.
In the 'Storage' area general settings for the storage are made:
Storage number: In the field under 'Storage' enter the number under which the storage should be saved. A comment can be entered next to it. If a plan template is used for the storage, the plan number is entered here instead of the storage number, and plan information can be entered in the comment field.
The comment or plan info field has a special feature. If you enter the keyword %Planinfo% here, the program inserts automatic plan information at this location that provides information about the stored building objects. The keyword can be combined with fixed text entries.
Clicking the 'Store' button then saves the storage or the finished plan with the current settings.
Storage for: This sets whether the storage is to be made for 'DXF' (version 14 or 2000), the 'classic plan program' or 'Plan'. In addition, there is the combined storage for Plan+DXF.
Plan template: If you have chosen storage for 'Plan' or a combination Plan+DXF, you can select a plan template here. Then no plan storage is generated, but a finished plan. The storage(s) are automatically inserted into the empty windows of the plan template. When one plan is full, the next plan is created automatically.
Round scale to: As soon as you have selected a plan template in the field above, you can enter the rounding for the scale here with which the storages will be automatically inserted into the windows. Two options are available:
Value: With Value you enter the step size to which the scale should be rounded. Example: A value of 5 yields scales of 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. The program selects the next appropriate value for each storage.
Fixed value: With Fixed value you specify a fixed scale with which each storage must be inserted into the plan.
Output unit for DXF: For DXF storage an output unit must be set here so that the dimensioning is generated in the desired unit.
Text height for DXF: For DXF storage the text height must be set here so that the labeling and dimensioning, after setting the scale in the drawing program, have the desired size.
