Layers to be Transferred

In this dialog box, the 2nd and 3rd drop-down lists are used to set the layers that are to be passed to the machine.

A special feature is the first drop-down list, which determines which layer is to be passed as layer 0. Typically, one enters posts, sills, frames, etc. in layer 0 and therefore wants to pass that layer as layer 0. The bars are then passed to Weinmann using the usual Weinmann bar commands. In individual cases, it may be desirable to pass a different layer containing bars (e.g., battens in layer 2) in a second WUP file and to have those bars passed using the Weinmann bar commands. In that case, set that batten layer as layer 0 here by selecting the layer of the batten layer in the first drop-down list (in our example, layer 2). All other layers will then be renumbered accordingly for the transfer.
