Masonry Plan

With the plan file "Masonry Plan, the walls can be stored in the view in DXF format and in plan format (Dietrich's). In this process, the wall bodies are cut with the rods (e.g. purlins, rafters, beams, etc.) that penetrate the walls.

The following rules are used for grading:

  • Bars of rod type group 300, which run parallel to the wall and lie in the wall body, are made so wide for the dihedral that they cut away the wall over the entire wall thickness on the lower edge of the rod. In addition, the air (L) below the rod is taken into account. The part of the wall below the rod is retained.

  • Rods that penetrate the wall at an angle of not equal to 90° at an angle also create oblique breakthroughs

  • However, rods that penetrate the wall at an angle of inclination not equal to 0° at an angle of inclination create openings with a horizontal lower surface. For grading, the rod is rotated so that the lower edge of the rod is parallel to global XoY. For this purpose, the lowest point of the rod within the wall is taken.

  • Canted rods create a penetration with vertical and horizontal edges. The magnitude of the penetration is determined by the 'box' around the rod plus the air. The air is measured perpendicular to the vertical and horizontal edges and not perpendicular to the oblique rod edges.

  • In the case of rods that penetrate the wall and are not parallel to the wall, the distance to vertical wall edges is checked. This is done by measuring the distance from these vertical wall edges to the bar edge that is closer to the respective wall edge. If the rods have a basic angle to the wall not equal to 90°, the greater distance to the wall edge is measured in each case (wall front or wall rear edge). If the measured distance is less than the value 'Minimum wall width next to purlin' (A), this piece of wall is completely omitted.

In addition, the distance between the upper edge of the rod and the upper edge of the wall is checked. For this purpose, the uppermost point of the rod and the uppermost point of the wall in the area of penetration are taken. If the distance in the Z-direction (H) between the two points is greater than the 'minimum wall height above the rod', the wall is no longer cut open at the top. Then the value 'Air above the bars' is also used.
