Settings
File - Settings - Cutting Height
The cutting height for the horizontal cut can be entered graphically with the mouse.
File - Settings - Vertical Section
The position for the vertical section can be entered graphically with the mouse.
File - Settings - Limits
Limit values can be set here for the automatic generation of components.
Minimum wood length with full cross-section : When creating a band, only components that have a full cross-section longer than the previously selected minimum length are retained.
Search area outside the wall : Normally, a component ends at the wall boundaries. It should also automatically connect to components that are not in the current wall, but in a neighboring wall. These components are found as boundaries if they lie within the search area. The search area shifts the wall boundary parallel by the specified value.
Minimum line length for core layer contours : The intersection of walls with the roof can result in small corners and points on the walls. These corners are usually undesirable. The program can automatically remove such wall corners. To do this, you specify the maximum line length for the layer contour lines to be deleted. The subsequent contour lines are automatically adjusted.
Minimum line length for shell layer contours : To remove unwanted corners in the contours, a distinction is made between core layers and shells, as different settings are sometimes helpful.
Screen elements
View Selection : Here you can select the views and their layout. The available views are the main view, the vertical section, and the horizontal section. While working in the main view, the vertical and horizontal sections are constantly displayed for reference.
Proportion of vertical section / horizontal section : The window width for vertical and horizontal sections is specified via proportions of the graphics window: 0.1 means 10% of the respective width.
Display in section windows : In the two section windows, you can choose to display either a section or a view of the wall. If you select the 'Section' option, you will see the section planes, which you can adjust using the functions File - Settings - Section Height and File - Settings - Vertical Section. With the 'View' option, you no longer get a section view in the section windows, but rather a view of the wall from above (lower section window) and from the left (right section window).
Area in front of/above building element : This value defines an area in front of the wall that should also be displayed in the wall view. A value of 0.000 cuts a slice of the building that has the thickness of the wall. The components located within this slice can be displayed in the wall construction. The value set here increases the thickness of the slice toward the front.
Area behind/below building element : This value defines an area behind the wall that should also be displayed in the wall view. A value of 0.000 cuts a slice of the building that has the thickness of the wall. The components located within this slice can be displayed in the wall construction. The value set here increases the thickness of the slice toward the rear.
