Autowand
Function for quickly creating the basic structure for half-timbered or timber-frame construction in walls. At the touch of a button, the components of the basic structure are created in one or more walls; these can then be further processed like any other component.
In the floor plan, walls can be selected as for HRB occupancy: all walls, all exterior walls, all interior walls, wall selection. See also the above chapter: Setting attributes for wall ends based on the order of wall selection.
Layer contours:
The layer contours are created by applying AutoWall. Previous changes to the layer contours are discarded.
The layer penetration is set so that layer 0 always extends to layer 0 of the partner wall. Therefore, any continuous stiffening planking is not taken into account.
The remaining layers are created in a similar way to how they intersect in the original form: Layer 2 intersects layer 2 for cutting and cut. The layers therefore overlap at the corners.
Production of components:
A material is specified for all components.
The cross-sectional height automatically corresponds to the thickness of layer 0.
Specify cross-sectional width:
corner post
Door-window jambs
Threshold - frame
Standard width for all other components
Posts created:
Corner post (turned corner post yes/no)
End post for T-joint and counter post in the partner wall
Door-window jambs
Door-window: lintel and parapet bar
Posts at sloping corners and ends are executed at right angles
Frame threshold:
1 Mercy
1 threshold
Selection yes/no for compensation threshold, which then has the same length as threshold
The input values are taken from the default values if the Dietrich's standard variables are used in the default values.
The further adjustment of the components is then carried out using the usual functions of DiWand 3D, in particular:
Cross-sectional change
Push component
Adjust lengths
Add connections
