General information on element numbering
The process for changing and reassigning element numbers has been made clearer. First, two buttons offer clear next steps:
1. Button: Reassign element number and order
First, you specify which prefix, type and starting number the elements should have.
The setting most frequently used in the current building element (e.g. wall) is offered.
The elements can then be selected in their order. All receive a new prefix and type. The first element receives the specified starting number, and the others are incremented.
In each step, existing, unique or sortable element numbers of other elements are adjusted if necessary.
2. Button: Change element numbers in the single element
First, the element to be changed is selected.
Its current settings for prefix, type and number are offered and can be adjusted.
In each step, existing, unique or sortable element numbers of other elements are adjusted if necessary.
The formatting of element numbers has been enhanced:
The number of digits for the number can be specified. The number is kept constant by leading zeros. This results in the desired order even with alphanumeric sorting:
