Building element as element
Entire building elements as one element
Building elements (walls, ceiling sections, roof surfaces) up to a certain size are not further subdivided into elements. Nevertheless, they are prefabricated like elements. This allows for a clear, consistent organization of these elements with the other elements. In particular, these elements are given uniform element numbers.
Entire wall as one element
In function 7-5-1 " Add element joints by clicking on the button " whole wall as one element ". " you can define the whole wall as one element with all numbering options
This often occurs with walls. To quickly define multiple walls as individual elements, the floor plan offers the 7-5-4 function " Entire wall as one element ." After entering the settings for the element number, the walls are simply selected one after the other.
To remove the element information, call function 7-5-3 " Delete Element Joint " as usual. Since no element joint is available for these walls, a diagonal line through the wall is offered in the floor plan or elevation view. This line can be deleted, thus removing the element information.
Entire ceiling as one element
In function 7-2 " Enter Element Layout, " you can click the "Enter Entire Ceiling as One Element" button to define the entire ceiling as a single element with all numbering options. (It is no longer necessary to set the boundaries outside the ceiling.)
To remove the element information, call the function 7-3-3 "Delete Element Joint" as usual. Since no element joint is available in these ceilings, a diagonal through the ceiling is offered in the ceiling construction. This can be deleted, thus removing the element information.
Entire roof area as one element
In function 7-2 " Enter Element Layout, " you can click the " Enter entire roof area as one element " button to define the entire roof area as one element with all numbering options. (It is no longer necessary to set the boundaries outside the roof area.)
To remove the element information, call the function 7-3-3 " Delete Element Joint " as usual. Since no element joint is available for these roof surfaces, a diagonal through the roof surface is offered in the roof structure. This can be deleted, thus removing the element information.
