Cutting area vertical
The 'Vertical Section Area' function lets you create a vertical section through the wall. This section can have any thickness; it essentially cuts a slice out of the wall and displays it. This section area belongs only to the current wall and can only be accessed within the current wall. Any number of such section areas can be defined per wall.
First, a vertical line appears that can be moved and represents the visible side of the cutting area. To define the visible side of the cutting area, click at the desired location. A magenta line will remain visible there, and you can then specify the back of the cutting area with another line. For both lines, you can click on existing points. These will snap to them as usual. However, if you click on an empty space, the usual coordinate input will not appear, allowing you to specify a cutting area as quickly and easily as possible. For many cuts, an exact point is not necessary to define the cutting area.
A dialog box will now open in which you can enter the name of the section. The section will be saved with this name. Later, you can access all created sections of a wall from a list. You can also specify an identifier. This information isn't mandatory, but all sections can be displayed in the wall plan, and the identifier will then help you better identify the section area in the wall.
With the 'Hidden' switch the cut is calculated in a hidden manner, with the 'not hidden' switch all lines remain visible.
Cutting area horizontal
The 'Horizontal Section Area' function lets you create a horizontal section through the wall. This section can have any thickness; it essentially cuts a slice out of the wall and displays it. This section area belongs only to the current wall and can only be accessed within the current wall. Any number of such section areas can be defined per wall.

List of cuts
Using the 'List' function, you can recall saved vertical and horizontal sections at any time. You can also delete, edit, or enter the identifier for display in the wall plan. The 'Delete' button deletes the selected section.
'Hidden' displays the selected section with the currently selected components. 'Unhidden' displays all lines of the selected section.
