Dormer Setting Boards
The "Stellbretter" function can automatically generate blocking boards at the various purlin edges.
With the selection list at the top of the dialog box you can choose existing settings. Using the disk icon you can save the current setting under the same name or a new name. Via the management icon you can create new settings, also by adopting existing settings, or modify or delete existing settings. See 'Save settings' in the 'General Help' manual.

The dimensions, orientation, and connections of the blocking boards are configured via the blocking board settings in the standard roof structure. To do this, select a setting from the "Stellbretter" column. Use the edit icon at the right edge of the field to review and modify the settings.
For positioning the blocking boards the program requires a reference edge. To avoid selecting this manually, the reference edge can be chosen from a list of presets. This can be either the front or the rear edge of the eaves purlin, the intermediate purlins, or the ridge purlin. Depending on whether the back or the front face of the blocking boards is positioned (blocking board setting), the blocking board will be chamfered or not.
