Dormer Wall Input

The wall input for the dormers is only available if the model area 'Floor plan' is also available.

The walls created via the dormer input are ordinary walls and can later be edited and modified in the floor plan input.

The walls are assigned to a storey. Therefore, the corresponding storey is selected first. Afterwards, the wall input can be made for the left, right and front dormer sides. For this, either a wall type can be selected or the wall thickness can be entered manually. For the left and right wall, only dormer wall types are available. For the front wall this depends on the setting above.

The walls can be offset relative to the dormer outline. The options 'Outer edge', 'Inner edge', 'Reference axis' and 'Value' are available for this. If the 'Value' option is selected, a small dialog box opens in which the value can be entered by which the outer edge of the wall should be offset relative to the dormer outline. For the other options the respective edge/axis is placed on the dormer outline.

The final option in the dialog box allows the intersection of the three walls to be defined. The helper image in the dialog box provides the best illustration of how the options are to be understood.
