Roof Components - Transfer Clamps

The "Transfer collars" function allows collars or collar beams that have already been entered in the current roof to be transferred to other rafters. All input values of the selected collars or collar beams are adopted.

After selecting the collar (or the collar beam) to be transferred, select all rafters to which the new collar is to be connected. These may be rafters from different roof surfaces. Complete the rafter selection with a right-click. The program will now automatically search for the opposing roof surface corresponding to the selected roof surfaces and display it. If the program has correctly identified the roof surface, confirm with a left-click; otherwise reject the flashing surface with a right-click. This roof-surface selection is performed sequentially for all roof surfaces on which rafters were selected.

If there are situations in which the new collar cannot be connected to a rafter, the program will automatically prompt for the line along which the collar(s) should be cut.
