Roof Components - Move Posts

The “Move Post” function allows purlin posts to be relocated after insertion. If the post was entered with knee braces and/or a sill, those components will be moved automatically as well.

For the relocation, select the posts that are to be moved by the same amount in the same direction. Then select a reference point and a target point. These points do not need to be on the post or the purlin to which the post belongs. Any points may be chosen, which will then be projected onto the purlin.

After selecting the two points, a dialog box displays the distance between the points, which can then be adjusted manually.
