Labels

Labels have two differences compared to regular texts:

  • Label texts can also have a border without containing a table.

  • Labels are texts that have a reference line to an arbitrary reference point.

When placing the label, a reference point is requested. The program then automatically creates a reference line between the label text and that reference point. If the text is later moved, the reference line follows. It automatically adapts to the new conditions.

The shape and format of the reference line are set in the text style. However, each individual label can be formatted differently from the text style settings. To do this, use the "Modify" function.
