Types for Corners and T-Joints
In the HRB system, up to and including version 18.02, corners and T-joints were uniquely defined by the combination of wall types and the geometric situation (e.g., interior right-angled, etc.). For each combination there was accordingly only one setting. However, if the same walls in the same geometric situation were constructed differently due to special rules (e.g., corner windows, T-joints on element joints, etc.), this was only possible with cumbersome free ends options. Since version 19.01, types can also be defined for all corners and T-joints:
HRB Editor
Double-clicking on 4._Wall ends or 5._T-joints opens the dialog for entering the descriptive texts for the types.
The respective text is used for the corresponding number in all situations. For example, if the text special is assigned here for corner type 3, then for type 3 in all corners the text special is displayed.
Double-clicking on the situation (e.g., Interior Right-Angled / Rear) opens the dialog box for managing the settings for that situation.
An additional column has now been added here. There you can select the type number. After it, the descriptive text for that type number is displayed.
Until now, only one setting could be defined for each combination of walls (e.g., current lead-on to - (current lead-on)). Now you can create any number of settings. Each of the settings with the same combination of wall types must have a different type number.
When a new setting is created, the system automatically assigns the next available type number for that combination of wall types. You can change the type number afterwards; however, each type number will be accepted only once for each combination.
Structure
In the wall attributes, the entries for left and right wall ends have now been separated: In the first drop-down list the type of wall end is determined: (automatic), cutting, cut, T-joint, element joint, free end. In the second drop-down list, a type number can then be selected depending on that. The descriptive texts from the currently linked HRB file are displayed after the type numbers.
If a wall end is set to 'cutting' or 'cut' with a type number, the end of the partner wall is correspondingly set to 'cut' or 'cutting' with the same type number.
For T-joints, the type number can only be specified for the abutting wall.
