Division Direction
Panel settings
Three options are available for the division direction of [independent sheathing]{.underline}:
Left: The layout starts on the left with a full panel and a matching panel strip remains at the right end.
Center: The layout starts with a panel joint exactly in the center of the wall. Whole panels are then distributed to the right and left, leaving a matching panel strip at both ends of the wall.
Right: The layout starts on the right with a full panel and a matching panel strip remains at the left end.
Center - center panel: The layout proceeds from the center to the left and right, where not a panel joint but the center of a panel is placed in the middle of the field.
Left, whole panel right: The layout runs from left to right, with a whole panel placed at the right end. Any narrower balancing panel required will then not be at the far right, but will be the second panel from the right.
Right, whole panel left: The layout runs from right to left, with a whole panel placed at the left end. Any narrower balancing panel required will then not be at the far left, but will be the second panel from the left.
Left, whole panel right and Right, whole panel left: This is used to avoid narrow panels at the ends of walls. Sheathings that in turn reference this sheathing (reference sheathing method) will now also generate a layout in which the whole panel at the end of the main sheathing is taken into account. Thus, as far as possible a whole panel is produced at the wall end as well, while all rules regarding joint offset are observed.
HRB allocation -- set division direction
In the HRB pre-run, the division direction is defined for each sheathing. When allocating specific walls, situations often arise where a changed division direction would be more favorable. This would require changing the HRB pre-run or creating a second one. The division direction can now be influenced directly during allocation.
A new element was introduced in the HRB allocation dialog Division direction from HRB pre-run :
With the option (from wall) the setting stored on the wall is retained. This option must be used when the individually set division directions on walls are to be preserved.
The division directions set in the HRB pre-run are used when the option retain from HRB is selected. This corresponds to the previous procedure.
The option reverse from HRB allows a change of the division direction while still permitting sheathing from a pre-run to be treated differently: From from left becomes from right and vice versa. From Left, whole panel right becomes Right, whole panel left and vice versa. The directions from center and Center - center panel remain unchanged.
The other options all from left / all from right / all from center / all center - center panel / all left, whole panel right / all right, whole panel left set the division direction of all independent sheathing entries in the HRB pre-run to this value.
The setting affects the independent sheathing entries directly.
The selected option for the division direction is stored on the allocated wall. It is therefore taken into account upon reallocation, even if the wall is allocated together with other walls. You also do not need to remember which division direction you previously determined to be best for a specific wall. For this purpose, when reallocating the option (from wall) must be used.
