Roof Elements - Field Rafters
The setting for the field rafters is similar to the distribution function from the standard rafter input.
The "button" at the top is not a button but a rocker. If you click it on the right end, the program advances to the next input; if you click it on the left end, the program goes back. This is easy to recognize from the label in the middle. There you can see which field rafter input number you are viewing out of how many. This also allows you to define field rafters for different layers.
In the next field you again select a rafter setting (as with single rafters). This defines all dimensions and connections for the field rafter. It also applies here that the setting can be changed arbitrarily via the browser button. If the setting then no longer matches the saved setting from the standard rafter input, the name of the setting is written in parentheses.
In the next three fields you can set fixed distances to the layer edges of the element borders. The first field rafter is then located at this position. Using the checkboxes to the right of the input fields, you can specify whether a rafter should be generated at this position or not. For example, if you want an even distribution between the single rafters at the element borders, enter the single rafter width for left and right here and disable generation of the rafters (the first and last field rafter) here.
With the next fields you determine the distribution of the element with the field rafters. This can be done either with a fixed spacing or with a variable spacing.
