Roof Elements - Edit Element Settings

Using the "Edit Element Settings" function, one can subsequently modify the settings of an already defined element. The same dialog box that was used to define the settings opens. Therefore, the setting of an element can be changed individually or an entirely different setting can be assigned.

After selecting this function, the roof structure is displayed in grey for improved clarity and the element boundaries and their element numbers are shown. As soon as an element is selected, the settings dialog box opens. You then change the setting or choose a completely different saved setting from the drop-down list. When you change the setting, the name of the current setting in the drop-down list is shown in parentheses. This indicates that the element's current setting no longer exactly matches the saved setting.

As soon as you exit the dialog box with "Ok", the element receives the new setting. However, this does not yet affect the components. After you have changed all desired elements, select the "Recalculate Elementation" function. The components of the elements are then re-created according to the new rules. If you exit the dialog box with the button "Recalculate" the element is recalculated immediately.
