Roof Elements - Reassign Element Number

When elements are entered, they are automatically assigned an element number. To avoid conflicts with existing element numbers, new elements always receive a new number. This also applies when a roof surface is subdivided into elements multiple times. It can quickly occur that elements have very high numbers and that one wishes to change this.

Using the 'Reassign element numbers' function, you can assign new numbers to elements. A dialog box opens in which you can set the desired prefix. By clicking the 'OK' button, the selected elements are numbered from 1 to X. To do so, click the elements in the desired order. With the 'Single element' button you can assign a different number to an individual element. Click the desired element and a dialog box opens in which you enter the new element number.

This function changes the primary number of the elements. If you have subdivision in the Y direction and therefore multiple elements share the same primary number but have different secondary numbers, this function changes only the primary number. The secondary number is assigned automatically and cannot be changed.
