Roof Windows - Data from Profile

If there is a profile on the roof surface that contains a roof window, this data can be used for entering roof windows. If the profile contains multiple roof windows, one of them can be selected for positioning.

Profile selection: The list contains all profile positions that belong to the roof surface.

Create window as component: Here it is specified whether the interior lining and the window should be created as components.

Width: Here the width of the window frame is entered. If an identification number was chosen for the window in the profile, this field is disabled. The value is then taken from the database.

lateral projection dimension: The two lateral parts of the interior lining are tilted by this value.

Using the 'OK' button, the roof window can be positioned. To select the positioning point, the window is first displayed in its own dialog box. The outer contour of the window frame, the contour of the opening around the window frame, and the contour of the interior lining are shown there. The window can then be moved parallel to the X-axis of the roof surface and positioned at any point.
