Roof Design - Round Corner

Using the "Round Corner" function, a corner of a roof surface can be rounded. The arc is specified in the dialog box only by its radius. This radius is measured in the global XoY plane.

Roof tiles are not considered in this case.

The arc can only be moved inward.

For this function, first select the point to be rounded. The selected point can then be moved graphically and placed at the desired location. All snap and input functions are available.

The entry can then be corrected in the subsequent dialog box:

Radius of the arc: The existing radius is displayed automatically. It can now be modified.

Number of segments of the arc: The arc is not actually created as a true circle but is segmented. This is necessary because the roof layer panels must also be adjusted as volumes. For this reason, the number of segments can be entered here. The value should not be chosen too large, as this would unnecessarily increase the data volume. For safety reasons, the program may correct the number so that a minimum line length of 0.05 m is achieved.
