Lines

The line input of the “Auxiliary Geometry” menu enables the definition of free lines and polylines. These lines can be used, for example, as reference lines for entering interior walls in the “Floor Plan” model area or as references for defining a free ceiling opening in the “Ceiling Field” model area.

All familiar graphical and temporary aids are available for creating lines in the model area. In addition, the “Auxiliary Geometry – Edit” functions provide extensive options for further processing. A further description of the editing functions can be found in this help under “Auxiliary Geometry -- Edit.”

Auxiliary geometries created within a building are also managed with the building. Thus, auxiliary geometries created, for example, on the ground floor can be hidden for further work on other storeys. The selection of visible auxiliary geometries is made via the menu item ‘File - Settings - Display’.
