Move Texts
The "Move (Texts)" function allows one or more texts to be moved. If a text that was created as single-line text is selected, it will again be attached to the cursor by its lower-left corner. If, instead, a multiline text is selected, the nine positioning points reappear as small dots on the drawing. After selecting one of the points, the text is attached to the cursor at that point and can be moved and repositioned.
As soon as multiple texts are selected at once, the first-selected text determines the subsequent procedure. If this is a single-line text, it is attached to the cursor by its lower-left corner and all other texts are moved along. If the first text is a multiline text, one of the nine positioning points can again be chosen.
During the move operation, the orientation of the texts is rotated in 90° increments using the space bar. The rotation is performed counterclockwise and can be repeated until the orientation is correct.
The rotation option is available for both single-line and multi-line texts and labels.
Therefore, editing the text does not need to be invoked for rotation.
In dynamic drawings, texts can be rotated in this way without disabling the insertion dynamics. When the drawing is recalculated, the rotation for texts and labels is preserved, and the displacement is preserved as well.
All input and snap functions are available for the placement of texts.
