Transfer properties

Using the "Transfer Properties" function, you can transfer the properties of one object to other objects of the same type. For example, you can transfer the color or layer membership of one line to another line so that the new line has the same color and belongs to the same layer.

First select the object whose properties are to be adopted. A dialog box will then open displaying the properties of that object. All fields in the dialog box are highlighted in blue. This indicates that those properties will all be transferred. Clicking on one of the fields highlights it in red. That property will then no longer be transferred. In this way, you can transfer only a subset of the properties.

After you close the dialog box with "OK", you can click the objects that should receive the properties. These can only be objects of the same type, since, for example, you cannot assign the properties of a dimension chain to a line.
