How can Drawings be created?
Basically, drawings can be generated from every model area. It is possible to create a drawing directly or create a storage in a buffer.
What is the difference between Drawings storage and Drawings template?
The drawing template is the direct way in the desired drawing format and offers automatic placement of drawing elements on the drawing. drawing storage serves as a buffer and offers the possibility to manually insert and align the drawing content into a new or existing drawing. drawing storage is therefore mainly used for drawings where multiple drawing storages are inserted. For example, an input drawing.
Can you create your own drawing templates?
Yes, custom drawing templates can be created in the drawing program. Among other things, graphics, legends, and images can be imported into this drawing. https://blog.dietrichs.de/2022/11/02/eigene-drawingvorlagen-erstellen/
When I use my own drawing template, a message appears during drawing creation that no free window is available?
The scale in the main view window must be 1:0 here. In the window settings of the respective drawing templates, the scale can be set under – View Window.
How does the recalculation of drawings work, the drawing dynamics?
The basic requirement is activated drawing dynamics when storing the drawings. Under 1-01-3, the drawing storages can be recalculated and managed.
How can I display the dimension numbers "DIN compliant" as architectural dimensioning?
How can a drawing of the roof be created with unfolded, true surfaces?
One possibility exists with the drawing storage function "current display" in the Free Construction model area. With the help of a work drawinge whose view runs parallel to the screen, the roof surface including components is unfolded in true surface. https://blog.dietrichs.de/2023/06/21/dachflaechen-ausklappen
The color/size of the hatching does not change despite settings?
Scale-dependent setting.
Why do multiple drawings of one wall arise in the wall drawing?
The decisive factors are the settings – Components/Labeling – and Display/Labeling in the wall drawing. The wall drawings can be stored with different views and layer contours.
With the checkboxes, one basically distinguishes between three storages.
On one hand, you can set the groups to be displayed for the 1st view, which can also get vertical and horizontal sections. In this view, one or more levels can thus be displayed at once.
The 2nd view behaves exactly like the 1st view. It can contain multiple groups at once and also gets the horizontal and vertical sections. For both views (1st and 2nd), the display from the back side can also be set separately. This allows two views to be created with multiple groups each, showing the wall from the front and from behind once each.
In addition, each level can be displayed in its own view. These views are inserted in their own window during automatic drawing generation (with drawing template). For which levels a separate view should be created can be set with the 3rd column of checkboxes.
Can adjacent walls be displayed on the wall drawing?
