Inputs for Determining Rooms, Room Configurations
For the 'interior point' function to determine a room, a point—the click point—must be entered with the mouse. At this location, as explained above, the lower edge of the room, i.e. the top of the finished floor, is determined.
From this point the room determination also starts during any subsequent recalculation.
The room information is displayed on the screen at this point.
Organizational values of a room
Rooms are determined in the model area Floor Plan. They belong to the storey that is active at the time of their entry.
Room number: The room number may be any combination of letters and numbers. It is specified by the user. It must be unique within the entire building because the quantity measurement values are aggregated by this room number. In addition, the room MOS is created for the room number.
Room name: The room name is usually used to describe the room function, e.g. 'Living', 'Kitchen', etc. It may occur multiple times within the building. The room name is also displayed in the construction data for the room.
Apartment / room group: The 'apartment' allows grouping of rooms. This can be used to divide the building into multiple apartments or functional areas (office, storage, etc.). The name of the room group is entered freely; the drop-down list shows all room groups that have already been created in the current building and can then be selected there. In the room book output, a summary is also provided for the room group.
Room specification
In the room specification parameters are set for display, classification according to calculation regulations is specified, and identifier numbers for determining measurement elements are defined.
Save - element: The room specification can be saved under a name. All parameters located in the dialog box below are saved in the specification.
Specification for measurement: The grouping of measurement values for the measurement area 'room geometry' is determined by this specification. Because this is not consistently linked with the other parameters, the option was added here to determine it independently of the name of the saved specification.
Thus the measurement area 'room geometry' can be structured arbitrarily, for example 'wet rooms', 'public rooms', etc.
Fill color for building: With this color the rooms are displayed filled in the model area Floor Plan. The polygon of the measurement value 'room geometry - true floor area' is filled.
Classification according to WoflV: Depending on their characteristics, rooms are only considered proportionally in the calculation according to the Wohnflächenverordnung (WoflV). This classification is specified here.
Living area (100%) unheated, fully enclosed 50% not fully enclosed 50% not fully enclosed 25%
Classification according to DIN 277, enclosure according to DIN 277
The room must be assigned to a usable area for consideration according to DIN 277.
The values for the building according to DIN 277 must be reported separately according to their enclosure. The room must be qualified with respect to its enclosure:
covered, fully enclosed
covered, not fully enclosed
not covered
For category c) a room can also be determined even if it is not completely closed upward by ceilings and roof surfaces.
Measurement elements: Measurement elements can be created at the same time as the room is determined. Measurement elements allow the capture of areas or lengths without requiring actual building components to be created. Measurement values are generated for measurement elements, but no material lists are produced.
Here measurement elements can be generated for some typical areas of a room; this is used for simplified specification:
The measurement element is generated when an identifier number has been assigned to it in the list.
Identifier numbers with an appropriate unit of capture can be assigned to the measurement elements. For the measurement areas (all except 'edge floor covering...') these are area units; for 'edge floor covering...' these are length units.
For the measurement elements on wall surfaces a limit height can be entered for interior and exterior walls. Different measurement elements are generated below and above this height.
