TFC - Occupancy
The HRB module is optional and enables the automatic assignment of studs (posts, sill, plate) and panels to walls. The studs can be aligned automatically to the panels. The construction at corner connections, T-joints, top and bottom connections, as well as openings, can be defined and modified precisely.
HRB - Wall selection
With the 'Wall selection' function you can graphically select any walls that are to be assigned by the HRB module next.
HRB - All walls
The 'All walls' function automatically marks all walls of the current floor without further input. These walls can then be assigned by the HRB module using 'Assign'.
HRB - All exterior walls
The 'All exterior walls' function automatically marks all exterior walls of the current floor without further input. These walls can then be assigned by the HRB module using 'Assign'.
HRB - All interior walls
The 'All interior walls' function automatically marks all interior walls of the current floor without further input. These walls can then be assigned by the HRB module using 'Assign'.
HRB - Assign
The 'Assign' function starts the calculation of studs and panels for the selected walls. The settings of the selected HRB preset file are used. A different preset file can be set for each wall. The preset file setting can be changed in advance with the 'Execution' and 'Attributes' functions.
In the dialog box that opens before the calculation, you can make various settings:
HRB preprocessor: Here you can choose whether the preset file set in each individual wall should be used (#from wall execution#), or you select a specific file from the list. This file will then be used for all marked walls, regardless of what was set previously.
Replace members: When assigning a wall, previously entered components (e.g., studs, panels, ...) can be deleted or retained. The following settings are possible:
All: All components that belong to the respective wall are deleted.
From HRB: Only the components that were previously generated with HRB are deleted. Components that were entered via the wall construction or Free Construction remain preserved.
None: All components remain preserved, regardless of where and how they were entered.
Generate panels: Here you can set whether the paneling specified in the HRB preset file should be generated or not. If, according to the setting in the HRB preset file, the studs are to be aligned to the panels, this alignment will be performed even if the panels are not generated.
Generate groups (2/-1/..., empty=all): With this option you can specify for which levels the components should be generated. If the field remains empty, the components are generated for all levels. If one or more levels are entered, only the components for those levels are generated. Individual levels are separated by slashes (/).
Regenerate layer contours: Here you can set whether the layer contours of the walls should be restored to their original form before assignment or not. With the 'Yes' option the original form of the layers is restored and the layer offsets from the HRB file are applied. With the 'No' option the layer contours remain as they were before the assignment. The layer offsets from the HRB file are then not applied. This allows manual layer corrections (in wall construction) to be used for HRB assignment in special cases.
[Minimum line length for layer contours:]{.underline}
Core layers: It can occur that a layer contour contains very small line segments that are actually irrelevant for the HRB assignment. This can happen, for example, due to the intersection of walls with the roof covering in the area of ridge or valley lines. With this value you can specify a minimum line length for core layers. Lines shorter than this value are deleted from the layer contour. The adjacent lines are automatically extended so that the contour closes again.
Shells: With this value you can set the same as for the core layers. (see above) The shells are all non-core layers.
After closing the dialog box, the assignment for the previously marked walls begins. This can be monitored in the overview window.
