TFC - Division Points

When walls are covered with HRB, the program begins the placement at the outermost left or right end or at the center of the wall, depending on the setting. However, it is sometimes preferable to place the division point at a different location. The wall is then subdivided (covered) to the right and left from that point. With the "division points" function you can place this division point manually.

You can set a division point for each segment of a wall. If the placement is not aligned to windows and doors (this can be configured in the HRB editor), the wall consists of only one segment. If the placement is aligned to windows and doors, the wall consists of multiple segments. The first segment extends from the left wall edge to the first opening, the second segment is as wide as the opening. The next segment extends from the right edge of that opening to the next opening, and so on.

After selecting the "division points" function, blue squares appear on all walls. These squares represent the possible segment boundaries. All possible segment boundaries are always displayed because the program cannot know which HRB preliminary file will be used later to cover the wall. You can now set a division point between any two segment boundaries.

If you set a second division point between the same segment boundaries, the first one is deleted. If you set multiple division points even though the wall will later be covered without aligning the panels to the openings, only the first division point will be used. The others are ignored.
