Free Opening - Modify
Replace line
A line of the free opening is selected. It is thereby replaced by two rubber-band segments: from the start point to the mouse cursor and from the mouse cursor to the end point. The entire opening therefore remains closed at all times. Using the right mouse button, one can choose either the start point or the end point of the former line as the starting point for the new polyline. The former line can now be replaced by any arbitrary polyline. If the input is completed with the right mouse button, the last gap is automatically closed by a line.
Move line
A line of the free opening is selected. An arrow indicates the positive direction of displacement. The distance by which the line should be moved can be entered.
Move point
A vertex of the free opening can be selected and moved. The two adjacent lines thus remain, but their direction and length are changed.
Delete point
If you want to remove lines from a free opening, vertices are deleted for this purpose. When a point is deleted, the two adjacent lines are replaced by a line from the start point of the first to the end point of the second former line.
