Leader Labels
For the leader line of labels, additional settings can be made in the text style:
Color set: The color in which the leader line should be displayed on screen and on paper. Using the control at the right edge of the field opens the dialog box where custom color sets can be defined.
Line type: The leader lines can have different line types (solid, dashed, etc.).
Line weight: The leader lines can have any line weight. Whether the specified line weight is displayed on screen depends on the setting under 'File - Settings - General'. However, the line weight will be visible on the hard copy (printer, inkjet plotter) in any case.
Type of line end: Different shapes can be set for the end of the leader line. The shapes should be sufficiently described by the images in the drop-down list.
Height: For options 4 to 9 of the type of line end, you can enter the height of the shape here.
Length: For options 4 to 9 of the type of line end, you can enter the length of the shape here. Because height and length can be entered separately, you can also define elongated arrows or an oval instead of a round dot.
Leader line: The leader line can have different forms:

The lines under the text or the frames around the text are produced by the line weights from the text style.
Length of the line segment at the text / % of total distance: This value determines the length of the first line segment directly at the label text for bent leader lines. This length can be entered either as a fixed length or as a percentage value. The percentage value always refers to the total distance between the reference point and the label text.
Connection points for leader line: The leader line automatically connects to the point of the reference text that is closest to the reference point. With this setting you can specify whether only the corner points of the label text, the midpoints, or both should be used for that purpose.
