File - Settings - Thresholds

Thresholds for the automatic generation of components can be configured here.

Minimum timber length with full cross-section: When generating a strip, only components that are longer than the previously selected minimum length and have a full cross-section are retained.

Search area outside the wall: Normally a component ends at the wall boundaries. It should also be automatically connected to components that are not in the current wall but in an adjacent wall. These components are detected as a boundary if they lie within the search area. The search area shifts the wall boundary parallel by the specified values.

Minimum line length for core layer contours: By intersecting the walls with the roof, small corners and spikes can form on the walls. These corners are undesirable in most cases. The program can automatically remove such wall corners. For this purpose, specify up to which line length the segments of the layer contours should be deleted. The subsequent contour lines are adjusted automatically.

Minimum line length for shell layer contours: For removing unwanted corners in the contours, a distinction is made between core layers and shells, as different settings can sometimes be useful.
