Assigning the cutout

When assigning a cutout, one or more components can be selected. Here, too, you may choose the function first and then the components. Alternatively, you select the components that should receive a cutout first and then the function. Selecting multiple components only makes sense if component 2, which creates the cutout, is large enough to penetrate several other components. An edge of component 2 is selected and the program then presents the two faces of component 2 that terminate at the chosen edge. That face then forms the base area of the cutout. If the faces are offered graphically, you can reject the displayed face with a right-click and the other face will be offered. With a left-click you select the offered face.
