The Constant Area Menu

The constant pane menu is a vertical menu bar on the right edge of the screen. This menu displays the functions contained in the menu or submenu in which a function was most recently invoked. For example, if in the DICAM model area you invoked the "Cross section" function in the "Edits - Sections" menu, then all functions from the "Sections" submenu will be displayed in the constant pane menu.

The constant pane menu can be turned on and off and its width can be changed. To do this, call function 1-7-2 in the DICAM model area File - Settings - Screen elements open. In the top left there is the drop-down list "constant pane menu on the right:". Select "No" to turn it off and "Yes" to turn it on. If you turn it off, you must restart the program for this change to take effect.

In the next field "Width in pixels" you can set the width of the constant pane menu.

The constant pane menu is becoming less necessary due to context menus. Therefore, by disabling the constant pane menu you can create space for a larger design area.
