Similar, Previous Objects

Often one needs all rafters or all exterior walls with the same configuration or other identical objects. In such a case, one can click each required object individually until all are selected. The faster method is to move the mouse over the first object and, once it is highlighted, press the 'A' key on the keyboard. This invokes the selection function 'Similar' and marks all similar objects. With a mouse click you confirm this marking and the objects are selected.

Note: The letter for this function can be changed via 'File - Settings - Keyboard Shortcuts'.

Size of the snapping area

At the crosshair you can see a small box that indicates the snapping area. As soon as a component edge or a point lies within this snapping area it is highlighted or can be selected. The size of this snapping area can be changed:

• Hold Ctrl and press the plus key on the numeric keypad to increase the snapping area.

• Hold Ctrl and press the minus key on the numeric keypad to decrease the snapping area.
