Basic Information

Floor plans are listed in the building navigation. Each story has, by default, its own subbranch "Floor Plans".

To create a new floor plan, right-click on the "Floor Plans" branch in the building navigation and then select "New Floor Plan" from the context menu.

Floor plans can store the following settings independently from the "Plan" and other "Floor Plans":

• View area

• Selection of layer configuration (including layer groups)

• Display configuration (including settings for automatic dimensioning and labeling)

If the checkboxes are set, the used settings are saved in the current floor plan.

Furthermore, each floor plan has its own scale, which controls the size of the drawing elements to be displayed. The behavior is identical to the scale of a view window in the plans application. Therefore, the scale applied at individual layers is ignored in the floor plan. The model area "Plan" continues to use the scale settings of the layer configuration.

Floor plans can be edited via their context menu. To do so, right-click on the respective floor plan in the building navigation. The following options are now available:

• "New Floor Plan": Create new or additional floor plans

• "Edit": Open the edit dialog of the current floor plan

• "Overwrite with current display and settings": The current floor plan is overwritten with the current settings ["1-7-1 Display Configuration" and "04-1 Layer Configuration"] from the model area.

• "Recalculate dimensions and labels": Manually trigger the recalculation of automatically generated dimensions and labels from the display configuration.

• "Delete": Delete the current floor plan including all drawing elements associated with this floor plan.
