Grid

When the grid is enabled, grid points can also be snapped using the crosshair. A grid point is only snapped if it lies within the snapping region of the crosshair.

The distances (X, Y) are always applied in the direction of the current, possibly oblique coordinate system:

Example: for distances = 0.1 m, angle = 45°

The image grid is represented by individual points. The points (i.e., the grid) can only be displayed if the spacing between two points is not too small.

The grid can be enabled in the dialog box where the distances are entered. Additionally, it can be toggled on and off at any time while in an input function by pressing the 'F' key.
