# TFC Stop Side

In the 'Information / System' subdialog of the opening inputs there is the field 'HRB strike side'. This field allows controlling the generation of components independently of the actual strike or hinge side of an opening. An example:

At the window a wider mullion should be installed on one side, not because of the window strike but because of the belt winder. However, the belt winder can be on the strike side or on the hinge side of the window at different times. Therefore the wider mullion cannot simply be installed on the window's strike side. The HRB strike side helps here.

The opening receives the strike side it should/must have so that the window is also displayed in the plans as it should appear. Additionally, one selects the HRB strike side required for the HRB assignment:

* **from construction**: The HRB strike side is identical to the strike side of the opening, as seen in the floor plan.
* **both-sided HRB strike**: On both sides of the opening (strike side and hinge side) a strike side is assumed for the HRB assignment. In our example the wider mullion would be generated on both sides of the opening.
* **both-sided HRB hinge**: On both sides of the opening (strike side and hinge side) a hinge side is assumed for the HRB assignment. In our example no wider mullion would be generated on either side of the opening.
* **left HRB strike**: With this option the strike side for the HRB assignment can be forced to the left side, regardless of which side is actually the opening's strike side. For determining left and right the opening direction of the opening always applies (not the HRB opening direction), which in Germany is usually in the viewing direction (opening inward).
* **right HRB strike**: With this option the strike side for the HRB assignment can be forced to the right side, regardless of which side is actually the opening's strike side. For determining left and right the opening direction of the opening always applies (not the HRB opening direction), which in Germany is usually in the viewing direction (opening inward).
