# Consider Recesses for the Sheathing

Claddings in HRB can align to windows and doors as described in detail above. At the left and right edges of the corresponding layer contour of the opening, field boundaries then arise for that cladding. The cladding is terminated and restarted at each of those locations. Since version 19.01, niches can optionally also be taken into account. Because this is typically not true for all niches, an identifier is placed on the niche itself for this purpose: *consider HRB cladding like windows*: Yes/No. When set to Yes, the cladding responds to this niche as it would to a window; the prerequisite is that the niche also generates a layer contour in the cladding layer. In this way, the cladding can, for example, align to a large mirror niche while ignoring the niche (HrbReference) for the inspection flap.
