# Ceiling Edits

This menu contains the functions for post-processing the slab panels.

## Slab edits -- Replace line

Individual lines of a slab panel can be graphically replaced by a new polyline using the crosshair. The start and end points of the existing line are preserved. All graphical and temporary aids are available for defining points of the new line. The contour change is applied to all layers of the slab panel. Plate solids created with the slab panel automatically adapt to the new contour.

## Slab edits -- Move line

In this dialog box, the contour of a slab panel can be increased or decreased by any value. Negative numeric values reduce the slab contour. The contour lines are shifted as a parallel offset to the original line. Contour areas adjacent to a modified line are automatically adjusted to the new contour situation. By entering a value greater than 0.00 under 'Offset' and using the 'Entire contour' function, all lines of the selected slab panel are shifted by the desired value. Using the 'Select' function, the contour line to be shifted can be selected with the crosshair. If the offset value is set to 0.00, any contour line can be chosen with the crosshair and moved graphically or using the temporary functions. Because this function modifies the reference polygon, the change is propagated to all layer contours.

## Slab edits -- Move point

Using this function, individual corner points of a slab panel contour can be repositioned. After selecting the corner point to be moved, the new position can be defined graphically or using the temporary functions. The slab contour across all layers and the contour lines converging at the moved corner point are automatically adjusted to the new contour situation.

## Slab edits -- Delete point

This function deletes individual points of a slab contour. After deletion, the program generates a new partial line between the contour points before and after the deleted point and closes the contour. The resulting new slab contour is changed in all layers.

## Slab edits - Execution

With this function, the executions (configurations) of existing slab panels can be changed. Multiple slab panels can be selected if they have the same configuration.

The new configuration may have different layer thicknesses, etc. Therefore the selected slab may become thicker or thinner. It is therefore necessary to specify which elevation of the slab configuration to be changed should be retained. Please also refer to the chapter Slab - Settings.

## Slab editing - Elevations

In this dialog box, the elevation of a slab panel within the building can be modified. Enter the new elevation of the top of the raw slab, where the reference can be the bottom of the current floor or the absolute zero elevation point in the building.

Changing the elevation automatically shifts all components, plate solids and openings of this slab panel by the difference.

## Slab editing - Delete

After graphically selecting a slab panel with the mouse, it is deleted. Bars and plates are deleted as well if applicable.
