# Dormer Templates

## Template - Save

The 'Template -- Save' function allows a dormer, including its walls, dormer opening, and dormer supporting structure, to be saved as a template (master data). This template can be used for new dormers. All values from this template are then applied to the new dormer. These values can be adopted without changes or modified as needed.

For example, standardized dormers that may only differ in width can be stored in this way. If required, a new dormer can then be placed on the main roof quickly with just a few clicks. The supporting structure automatically adjusts to the new dormer dimensions.

The current dormer is always saved as the template. To save the dormer, enter any name of up to 30 characters and close the dialog with 'Ok'.

## Template - Delete

Using the 'Template -- Delete' function, templates can be removed from the master data. To do so, select the desired template in the list and click 'Delete'.
