# Building Element as Element

## Entire building components as a single element

Building components (wall, ceiling panel, roof surface) up to a certain size are not further subdivided into elements. Nevertheless, they are prefabricated as elements. This now enables a clear, consistent organization of these components with the other elements. In particular, these components receive uniform element numbers.

### Entire wall as a single element

* In function 7-5-1 "*Add element joints*" you can, by clicking the button "*entire wall as a single element*" define the entire wall as a single element with all numbering options.
* This is common for walls. To define multiple walls very quickly each as a single element, the floor plan offers function 7-5-4 "*entire wall one element*". After entering the settings for the element number, the walls are simply selected one after another.
* To remove the element information again, the usual function 7-5-3 "*Delete element joint*" is called. Since no element joint can be selected in these walls, a diagonal through the wall is offered in the floor plan or view. This can be deleted and thereby the element information removed again.

### Entire ceiling as a single element

* In function 7-2 "*Enter elementization*" you can, by clicking the button "entire ceiling as a single element", define the entire ceiling as a single element with all numbering options. (It is no longer necessary to set the boundaries outside the ceiling).
* To remove the element information again, the usual function 7-3-3 "Delete element joint" is called. Since no element joint can be selected in these ceilings, a diagonal through the ceiling is offered in the ceiling construction. This can be deleted and thereby the element information removed again.

### Entire roof surface as a single element

* In function 7-2 "*Enter elementization*" you can, by clicking the button "*entire roof surface as a single element*" the entire roof surface can be defined as a single element with all numbering options. (It is no longer necessary to set the boundaries outside the roof surface).
* To remove the element information again, the usual function 7-3-3 "*Delete element joint*" is called. Since no element joint can be selected in these roof surfaces, a diagonal through the roof surface is offered in the roof structure. This can be deleted and thereby the element information removed again.
