# Manage Settings - Images

Appropriate images are a useful aid for quickly and easily selecting the correct setting. Therefore, any images can be attached to a setting.

Images are not attached to the setting automatically because the program cannot determine which image should be displayed. Therefore, each user can select their own image for the respective setting. This is done using the left of the two buttons to the right below the image. As an aid, we provide a selection of images that can be chosen very easily. When you click the icon for image selection, a dialog box opens. In the upper left area of the dialog box there are three wide buttons that allow you to directly select three different directories where images might be located. The "current project directory" contains user-stored images. The "auxiliary images" directory contains the images we provide. Among other things, there is a subdirectory named 'Bildersammlung' where each user may find a suitable image. Otherwise, you create your own image via the OpenGL function and attach it to the setting.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.dietrichs.com/dietrichs-intelligent-documentation/docs-de-en/design-program/modellbereiche/allgemeines/einstellungen-speichern/einstellungen-verwalten/einstellungen-verwalten-bilder.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
