# Update elevation marker

When elevation marks are moved using the “Edit - Move” function or when copies are created elsewhere via the “Copy” / “Mirror” functions from the “Edit” menu, the elevation value is no longer correct. The height of the old position is still displayed.

Using the “Elevation Mark - Update” function the elevation can be refreshed; it will then display the height (Y-coordinate) of the new position.
