# Log Construction - Connections

In the "Connections" area of the block-construction configurations, you can set connections for the various wall junction situations. If you click one of the fields, a dialog box opens in which you can choose from different processing types. For each processing type you can save any number of settings. You select an entry by double-clicking it.

A special entry is the entry ">> New Setting". This allows you to create and save a new setting for the respective processing type.

In the list of processing settings there may be greyed-out entries. These are not available for the connection you are currently trying to configure because they are not meaningful. For example, for a connection "Exterior Corner" a processing type for an intersection connection cannot be selected.

Using the browser button next to the field in the block-construction configuration dialog box, you can branch into the dialog box for the respective processing type and modify the settings.
