# Save Settings

With version 8, the storage of settings throughout the system was standardized and simultaneously expanded with many options. Because this functionality is identical across the system, it is described once in this central help chapter. This system allows settings to be saved, deleted, organized, and made available with a single button press.

In all dialog boxes where settings can be saved, there is a selection list at the top and three small icons to its right.

Clicking the selection list opens the "Settings Selection" dialog box.

The first icon opens the "Save Settings" dialog box, the second icon opens the "Manage Settings" dialog box, and the third icon can be used to "Undo Reduction" on an existing item.
