# Grid

When the grid is enabled, the grid points can also be snapped with the crosshair. A grid point is only snapped if it lies within the crosshair's snapping range.

The distances (X, Y) are always applied in the direction of the current, possibly inclined coordinate system:

Example: for distances = 0.1 m, angle = 45°

The image grid is displayed using individual points. The points (= the grid) can only be displayed if the distance between two points is not too small.

The grid can be enabled in the dialog box where the distances are also entered. In addition, whenever you are in an input function, it can be switched on and off with the 'R' key.
